These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the My Movemates mobile app and related services. My Movemates is operated by AveeDev Digital Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").

By using My Movemates, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About My Movemates

My Movemates helps users build a daily mobility habit through guided exercises, progress tracking, reminders, widgets, friends, pokes, referrals, rankings, Move Coins, Karma Coins, and related habit-building features.

2. Wellness Information, Not Medical Advice

My Movemates provides general wellness, mobility, and habit-building information. The app is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, physical therapy, or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.

You are responsible for deciding whether exercises or activities are appropriate for you. Stop using an exercise or activity if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, unusual discomfort, or any other concerning symptom. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before using the app if you have an injury, medical condition, mobility limitation, recent surgery, pregnancy-related concern, or any uncertainty about whether movement is safe for you.

3. Accounts and Sign-In

Some app features require signing in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or another supported login method. You are responsible for maintaining access to the account you use to sign in.

You agree to provide accurate information where required and to use aliases, profile details, and social features responsibly. You may not impersonate another person, mislead others about your identity, or use another person's account without permission.

4. Social Features and Acceptable Use

My Movemates includes social and accountability features such as friends, leaderboards, referrals, Thanks, and pokes.

You agree not to:

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend access, or terminate an account if we believe these Terms are violated or if action is needed to protect users, the app, or our services.

5. In-App Points, Rewards, and Rankings

Move Coins, Karma Coins, streaks, ranks, leaderboards, unlocks, and similar app mechanics are for habit-building and entertainment within My Movemates. They have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be sold, transferred for money, redeemed for money, or exchanged outside the app.

We may adjust, reset, remove, or change these mechanics to correct errors, prevent abuse, improve the app, or operate the service.

6. Health and Device Permissions

My Movemates may request permission to read step count from Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android, and may request notification permissions for reminders and social notifications. You can grant, deny, or revoke these permissions in your device settings.

My Movemates does not control Apple Health, Health Connect, your operating system, or other third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

My Movemates may use or link to third-party services and content, including Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Firebase services, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Health, Health Connect, YouTube, app stores, and hosting or database providers.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, availability, policies, or practices.

8. App Changes and Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of My Movemates at any time. We may also add, remove, or change features, exercises, recommendations, rewards, social features, or content.

We try to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

9. Intellectual Property

My Movemates, including its app design, branding, text, graphics, software, features, and related materials, is owned by AveeDev Digital Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes as permitted by these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the app or related materials unless we give written permission or the law allows it.

10. Feedback

If you send feedback, suggestions, bug reports, ideas, or other comments, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation to improve, develop, operate, and promote My Movemates.

11. Privacy and Account Deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. Our Account Deletion Policy explains how account deletion works and what data is deleted or retained.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. You may initiate account deletion in the app from Settings.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the app or related services if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users or our services, or used the app in a harmful or unlawful way.

13. Disclaimers

My Movemates is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee any particular health, fitness, mobility, habit, wellness, or progress outcome from using the app.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AveeDev Digital Inc. and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, profits, or business, arising from or related to your use of My Movemates.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

15. Platform Terms

If you download My Movemates through Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app store, that store's terms may also apply. The app store provider is not responsible for providing support or maintenance for My Movemates unless required by its own terms or applicable law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of My Movemates after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
